Mount Etna Eruption in Italy How many volcano's is that and where is the discussion on earth changes in media?

ramatic footage has been released of Mount Etna in Sicily (Italy) blasting out lava and producing a dense ash plume that extended more than two kilometres into the air.

The volcanic eruption took place on Saturday. The wind carried eruption fragments to Italy’s second largest city of Catania (pop. 752,895 in the Metropolitan Area), where flights at the country’s largest airport were grounded overnight. Ash falls were also reported in Nicolosi, Viagrande, Trecastagni and Acireale.http://www.irishweatheronline.com/news/earthquakesvolcanos/mount-etna-eruption-closes-local-airport/25755.html

Mythology: Typhon? English project…?

In English class, we’re learning about mythology. We recently read the myth of Typhon, who was/is believed to cause Mount Etna to erupt. Our assignment is to write a newspaper article as if we were the news reporter witnessing Typhon make the volcano erupt itself. I’m asking for creative ideas to put into this article. My teacher is big on creativity and my brain is just not working. I’m a sophomore in high school, so I need to write a sophomore-level article… help please.
I had to read the myth before given the assignment, I need a good answer, unlike the first person to answer this.

Mount Etna? Does it have snow?

I’ll try to keep it short. Lol.
So I have to build a model of a volcano I’m doing a report on in science class.
I’m doing Mount Etna.
But I’m not sure if it has snow or not.
I’m pretty sure it does. I guess I just want reassurance.
Haha. Thanks.
Also, If you would maybe want to include an awesome picture of Mount Etna, go for it!
Haha:)
